Talking ’bout Creativity

CREATIVITY…
Assume your self as the most creative person in the world…what would you be?
A fashion designer? An artist? An interior designer? A graphic designer? Novelist? A culinarist?
…Where you can create something based on our own creativity… but what is creativity?
It sounds like creativity is closely related to making something. .. create-ivity… is to create…
but sometimes our mind had been set to perceive creativity as something that is created as a physical object–in other word, tangible= some thing you can sense using your 5 sensory. Some one who is creative is some one who can make tangible objects which can pleaze our 5 sensory… nice to see, nice to taste, nice to be touched, nice to be heard, or nice smell. But mostly, the criterion of a cretivity is to make some thing which is nice to be seen. It should firstly pleaze our eyes…the beauty.

But what comes in your mind if I say everyone is creative?
Yes we all are creative. We just sometimes be unfair with ourselves by underestimating our own creativity by defining creativity as those mentioned above. You picturize yourself as someone who’s not creative. But wait, you’ve been living in this world for this while and still survive but you say your self as an uncreative person?

Creativity is a survival technique. It is an action to fulfill the Rules or to live within the rules. Freedom doesn’t make you creative. Living according to the rules and succeed in finding the way to live not to break the rule is creative… coz it makes you think.
Freedom is closely related to self fulfillment… fulfill your ego, fulfill your wants, fulfill your desires. it doesn’t make you THINK!

A creative person is a person who think! As long as you still think before you do something… you are creative! it doesn’t have to come out with any tangible objects. it could be something that you can feel or think. The basic of creativity is to be felt or to be thought in the process of doing it and in the process of consuming it.

A beautiful paintings should ignites your feeling. You would know when something is beautiful or when something is not beautiful. Even a beauty must fulfill the rules of beauty, which are mostly related to nature’s balance (the balance of anything in the universe). A good composition of anyting you do must in some ways fullfill any nature’s flow (it’s not just about forest, trees, animals, mountains, or seas… but go deep with how they live, what they do, their physical details, etc)

What would you feel if you have to read from down to up. it some how feels heavy. Compare to your self if you were asked to walk the stairs to the upstairs… it feels heavy too… why? because we follow the nature’s gravity. it is hard to go up coz gravity pulls you.
